If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Platform.
2. Eligibility
To use Gylde, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Be legally able to enter into a binding contract
Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
Not have been previously banned from Gylde
Not be a registered sex offender
By using Gylde, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We may request verification of your age or identity at any time.
3. Your Account
Account Creation
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Security
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
One Account Per Person
You may only create and maintain one Gylde account. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination of all accounts.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed and your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Free and Paid Features
Gylde offers both free features and a paid Premium subscription plan. Certain features are only available to Premium subscribers.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or quarterly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.
Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
Refund Policy
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at legal@gylde.com.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with notice. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle after the change.
5. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
Use Gylde for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, or threaten other users
Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
Use the Platform for commercial purposes, solicitation, or advertising
Send spam, chain letters, or unsolicited messages
Share sexually explicit content in public profile areas
Attempt to access another user's account without permission
Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions
Solicit money or financial support from other users
Engage in any form of prostitution or escort services
Share other users' information without their consent
Violation of these rules may result in warning, suspension, or permanent ban from Gylde.
6. User Content
Your Content
You are solely responsible for the content you post on Gylde, including photos, bio text, and messages. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to share this content.
License to Us
By posting content on Gylde, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with operating and improving the Platform.
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without notice. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so at our discretion.
Prohibited Content
You may not post content that:
Contains nudity or sexually explicit material in public areas
Depicts minors in any capacity
Promotes illegal activities
Infringes on intellectual property rights
Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
Is false, misleading, or deceptive
7. Safety and Reporting
Your Safety
While we implement safety measures, we cannot guarantee the behavior of other users. You are responsible for your own safety when interacting with others both on and off the Platform.
Reporting
If you encounter inappropriate behavior or content, please report it immediately using our in-app reporting tools or by contacting support. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
Background Checks
Gylde does not conduct criminal background checks on users. Identity verification confirms that a user is who they claim to be, but does not verify their character or criminal history.
8. Intellectual Property
The Gylde name, logo, and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Gylde and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Platform without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:
The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
Any matches or connections will lead to relationships
Other users' profiles are accurate or truthful
The Platform will meet your specific expectations
Gylde is a dating platform that facilitates introductions. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GYLDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gylde and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
13. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@gylde.com to attempt informal resolution.
Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of Gylde after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
